How to Assemble your Rebounder

Quick tutorial showing how to assemble your rebounder.

Assembly: Attaching your Bungees

Follow along with Marc to attach your bungees step by step.

  1. Leaps and Rebounds rebounder parts laid out on grass: frame pad, six legs, bungee cords and assembly tool

Unbox and lay out your parts

Open the box and lay every part on a soft, flat surface. You should have the frame, 6 legs, the bungee cords, and your hardware bag. Take a quick count before you begin.

Assemble on carpet or a mat to protect your floors and keep parts from rolling.
  2. Attaching a leg to the mini fitness rebounder frame

    Attach the legs

Twist each leg firmly into the frame sockets until snug. Give the frame a gentle wobble test. All six legs should sit flush and even on the ground.

  3. Attaching colorful bungee cords to the rebounder frame

    Attach the bungees

Work the bungee cords on in a criss cross pattern, opposite sides first, so tension stays even all the way around. Follow along with Marc in the video above for the easiest technique.

Use the bungee tool if included. It saves your hands and speeds things up.
  4. Mini fitness rebounder with adjustable stability bar attached

    Install the stability bar (optional)

If you have the Stability Bar, slot it into the mounts and tighten the knobs by hand. It's a great confidence builder for your first few sessions.

  5. Person bouncing on a mini fitness rebounder in a bright living room

    Safety check and first bounce

Confirm every leg and bungee is secure, place the rebounder on a level surface with clearance overhead, and step on near the center. Start with a gentle health bounce. Heels stay down, knees soft.

New to rebounding? Keep one hand on the stability bar until you find your balance.

Questions & answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything new bouncers ask us. Still stuck? We're one message away.

Is rebounding right for beginners?

Absolutely. Start with gentle walk, jog, and run bounces and build up as your confidence grows. The soft bungee bounce welcomes every fitness level. The Introduction and Assembly Guide sections above will get you moving safely from day one.

How much weight can the rebounder hold?

Both our 40 inch and 48 inch rebounders support up to 330 lbs, so they suit a wide range of body types and fitness levels. Always check the weight limit in the product details before your first bounce.

Is rebounding really easier on my joints?

Yes. The bungee corded mat absorbs most of the impact your knees, hips, and ankles would take on hard ground, so you get a genuine cardio and strength workout with far less strain. Perfect if you're easing back into exercise.

Do I need the Stability Bar?

It's optional, but many beginners love it. The Stability Bar gives you a secure handhold while you find your balance and build confidence. Watch the About our Stability Bar video in the Introduction section, and you'll find it in the More Products section below.

How do I assemble it and attach the bungees?

It only takes a few minutes. Follow the videos and the step by step Assembly Guide near the top of this page.

Is my rebounder under warranty?

Yes, every rebounder is backed by our Lifetime Warranty. Watch the About our Warranty video in the Introduction section to see exactly what's covered.
